Job Summary/Basic Functions

SharePoint Administrator will manage all unction and activity of the University SharePoint and Web Services software. SharePoint Administrator includes web maintenance, troubleshooting site issues, developing web parts, solutions, and analyzing all user activity within the Universities Colleges/Departments. SharePoint Administrator delegates tasks in SharePoint environment. They will provide support, guide the University SharePoint and Web users, ensures functionality, updates the software as necessary, and addresses and resolves any issues with the software performance.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or Equivalent combination of experience and education.

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016.

- Demonstrated experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administrating.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.

- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

- Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests.

- Strong project management skills.

- Demonstrated expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs.

- Excellent knowledge around UI/UX.

- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

- Basic knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packing to deploy from DEV to PROD.

- Experience in Content Management System for Web Maintenance for University Website

- Demonstrated ability to code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap or responsive design for all devices.
